State University of Applied Sciences in Konin was founded in 1998. Since then the School has offered full-time and extramural courses leading to the professional title of a licencjat, which is the Polish equivalent of the Bachelor’s degree, or the title of an engineer and Master's Degree Studies (Philology). Graduates (Bachelors) are prepared for future employment or have the right to continue education within the Master’s degree programmes. There are three faculties and students can choose from among 20 study programmes.
 
The School is accommodated in a number of well-equipped buildings purposefully designed to provide an excellent quality of education: 1 Przyjaźni Street, 4 ks. J. Popiełuszki Street and 3C, 35 kard. S. Wyszyńskiego Street in Konin. The laboratories, workshop rooms and lecture halls are furnished with modern sound systems, over-head projectors, etc. The School possesses a modern Lecture-Didactics Centre with a lecture hall accommodating 700 people, where concerts, performances or movie projections can be held. A modern, computerized library is another asset of the School. It is equipped with facilities for the disabled (computer station, software, etc.). All School premises are within a Wi-Fi range. Two modern halls of residence are equipped with Internet access in the rooms, there are also cafeterias and a canteen. Moreover, the School offers various postgraduate courses and workshops.
 
International co-operation is perceived as an important facet of our activity. First and foremost, it contributes to the professional development of the students, academic and administrative staff. State University of Applied Sciences in Konin is associated with almost 100 partner institutions in Europe within the framework of mobility programmes and a number of new partnership agreements are underway. We also organize student internship programmes in co-operation with foreign companies.
ERASMUS+ enables several dozens of our students to study and work abroad and many foreign students to visit our school each year. The programme not only supports students, but also our teaching and non-teaching staff who want to gain experience and receive training abroad.
